Combined with high-speed 14-bit image data readout and an AA-filter-free optical design, this image sensor ensures the capture of super-high-resolution, rich-gradation, and fine-detailed images.

Further enhancing the camera's performance, the PENTAX KF features a high-performance accelerator unit coupled with the high-speed PRIME MII imaging engine. This combination effectively minimizes noise at all sensitivity levels, enabling the capture of remarkable images even at the top sensitivity of ISO 102400.

Designed for demanding outdoor conditions, the PENTAX KF boasts a compact, easy-to-carry body with dustproof, weather-resistant construction. Featuring 100 seals throughout the body, the camera can withstand rain, fog, snow, and freezing temperatures as low as -14°F, making it a reliable companion in challenging environments.

Within its compact form, the PENTAX KF incorporates a glass prism viewfinder with the same optics and coatings as higher-level models. Offering approximately 100% field of view and 0.95-times magnification, the viewfinder provides a large, clear view of the subject, facilitating quick and easy confirmation of focusing and framing.

The bundle includes the PENTAX KF DSLR camera body, the Ricoh Pentax O-GPS2 GPS unit, a camera system gadget bag with an accessory and cleaning kit, a software bundle of four OEM photo, video, and art software suites, and a 64GB Extreme Pro SDXC UHS-I memory card.

The O-GPS2 GPS unit mounts on the camera's hot shoe and records the latitude, longitude, altitude, universal time coordinated (UTC), and shooting direction onto the captured images, providing valuable metadata for outdoor photography. Additionally, the Astrotracer function couples the unit with the camera's shake reduction system, enabling precise tracking of celestial bodies.

The PENTAX KF also offers an outdoor-friendly LCD with selectable brightness levels, as well as a night vision red light LCD function that reduces eye strain when shooting in dark environments.
