1. This is a manual adapter without autofocus or aperture ring capabilities. Skillful installation is required, avoiding the application of excessive force.

2. When adapting an APS-frame lens to a full-frame camera, vignetting may occur. However, some cameras can correct this by adjusting the APSC settings.

3. Conversely, adapting a full-frame lens to an APS-frame camera can provide excellent edge-to-edge sharpness. The smaller image field helps minimize the effects of lens distortion and aberration by utilizing the 'sweet spot' or center of the larger lens image circle. Additionally, it will magnify the focal length by 1.6 on Canon, 1.5 on Nikon and Sony, and 2.0 on M4/3 cameras.

4. The infinity focus position of the telephoto or super-telephoto lens may be slightly shifted to the positive side, enabling focus adjustment even when temperature changes cause a focus shift. This shift range is denoted by an L-shaped line. Always double-check the focus through the viewfinder, even when shooting at infinity.

5. If your camera displays a "lens is not properly installed" warning message, you can modify the camera settings to 'Enable' the 'Release w/o Lens' option (the exact naming and location may vary depending on the camera model).
